About

EDGE Furniture is a luxury modern furniture brand blending sleek aesthetics with elegant functionality. The project focuses on creating a seamless online shopping experience that highlights the brand's premium offerings while maintaining a minimalist and visually striking design.

Problem

EDGE Furniture had a limited digital presence, and its existing platform did not effectively showcase the brand's luxury appeal. Users found it difficult to browse collections, understand product features, or visualize how items would fit into their spaces. The lack of clear hierarchy, engaging visuals, and user-centered interactions made the shopping experience feel disconnected from the brand’s premium in-store feel, ultimately impacting user trust and purchase intent.

Goal

The goal was to design an intuitive and esthetic website that enhances the user experience, promotes the brand's identity, and facilitates easy navigation for users to discover, explore, and purchase furniture effortlessly.

Solution

The new website design delivers a clean, cohesive, and luxurious digital experience tailored to the brand’s upscale image. By focusing on minimalistic layouts, intuitive navigation, high-quality visuals, and strategic UX patterns, the solution ensures users can effortlessly browse, explore product details, and make confident purchasing decisions all while immersing themselves in the brand’s refined aesthetic.

Research Process

In the research phase I have focused on three key aspects: Target Audience Analysis, Competitor Analysis, and User Needs Assessment.

    • Defined the primary audience as affluent homeowners, interior designers, and architects looking for premium, modern furniture.

    • Conducted surveys and interviews to identify key preferences, including sleek aesthetics, ease of navigation, and quick access to detailed product information.

    • Analyzed industry-leading luxury furniture websites to understand trends, usability standards, and design patterns.

    • Noted key differentiators like personalized product recommendations, visually immersive product showcases, and seamless checkout experiences.

    • Mapped out user journeys to uncover pain points, such as difficulty in comparing products or navigating extensive catalogs.

    • Compiled insights into actionable takeaways for the design phase, such as simplifying navigation, highlighting key products, and incorporating a robust filtering system.
